The App-Less MaaS: Building the System of Transportation Alternatives

Mobility-as-a-Service conversations nearly always devolve into discussions of apps and payment methods. But an app with no options will not create the shift we want to see to sustainable mobility. What are the actions cities can undertake to support a singular mobility "system" which accommodates multiple modes and trip types? What are the barriers in terms of funding, data, and infrastructure, and how are they surmounted? In this panel, the panelists will talk about MaaS without mentioning the word "app" once- focusing on the service offerings- with lessons from across the US and Europe.
