Infrastructure Readiness to Support Smarter Cities and Emerging Mobility Solutions (WA1)

This workshop is designed to provide an interactive forum to convene, learn, and understand how technology, innovative governance structures, and outreach and engagement can be used to advance smart city goals while prioritizing equity and resiliency. The discussion topics will include: intersection between technology and innovation, the built environment, and equity and accessibility; rethinking engagement both internally and externally; innovative policy and governance structures that align next generation mobility; resource considerations and needs from local perspective. A key question: How do emerging technologies impact current planning approaches around infrastructure needs?
