Advancing Complete Trips and Mobility Payment Integration – Findings from Research and Practice

The Complete Trip concept seeks to ensure safety, accessibility, ease, and confidence at each step of a person’s travel. Two Federal Transit Administration (FTA) mobility innovation demonstration programs, Integrated Mobility Innovation (IMI) and Accelerated Innovative Mobility (AIM), are advancing this vision by enabling public transportation providers to develop and deploy new mobility technologies and business models. FTA is sponsoring the independent evaluation of these programs along with research on the state-of-the-industry for mobility payment integration, including best practices and policy recommendations. FTA, ICF, TriMet, and Whatcom Transportation Authority will present findings from these programs and research efforts.
