Dr. Renée Skeete is Manager of Smart Grid Programs at Commonwealth Edison (ComEd), where she leads the Community of the Future program, managing partnerships and pilot projects to drive advanced energy technology adoption, community resilience, and health and well-being. Prior to joining ComEd, she worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, gaining experience in research translation, implementation science, and built environment approaches to chronic disease prevention. Renée holds doctorate and master’s degrees in sociology from Georgia State University, and a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies in social science from Michigan State University.
