Bruce Schaller is Principal of Schaller Consulting and a nationally recognized expert on urban transportation policy. He is the author of several recent reports on app-based ride services covering issues of traffic and transit impacts, public sector collaborations and regulatory policy. He was a senior New York City transportation official and is currently serving on a TRB policy committee examining opportunities for Mobility Management and Mobility as a Service (MaaS). He has a Masters in Public Policy from the University of California at Berkeley and a BA from Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio. He is currently working on a book that ties together issues of opportunity and equity in jobs, housing and transportation, and what it means for public transit and new mobility.
