Benjamin Crowther

Ben Crowther manages the Congress for the New Urbanism’s transportation initiatives, including its Highways to Boulevards program. He first encountered New Urbanism while conducting research for his doctoral dissertation on architecture, community, and street design in the Roman empire. Ben holds an MA in Humanities from the University of Chicago and BA in Classics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He completed his PhD at the University of Texas at Austin.
