Andrew (Andy) Wolpert joins us from the City of Columbus, where he serves as the Deputy Program Manager for Smart City Columbus. He has over 20 years of engineering experience ranging from $200M transportation Design-Build projects to sophisticated intelligent transportation solutions. Building off a solid, civil/transportation engineering background, Andy has successfully led multiple technology projects designed to provide equitable, safe, and reliable transportation that have advanced mobility at a national level. His leadership and communication skills enabled him to deliver numerous, complex projects that required extensive public outreach, managing stakeholder expectations, and effective coordination with multiple government and private entities (federal, state, and local). Andy has led multi-disciplinary teams on fast-paced projects and has used innovation and communication to improve efficiency, accelerate decision-making, and reduce costs.
